So, it’s only five days until we go into the studio! This seems like a good moment to tell you about the wonderful musicians we’ll be working with…

On acoustic bass: Jim Barr. Even if you don’t recognise his name, you’ll probably have heard his playing, on recordings by artists such as Portishead, Peter Gabriel and the award winning Get the Blessing.

On steel string, 12 string and dobro guitars: Andy Christie. Andy is a highly experienced blues and jazz guitarist who has also notably worked with prog rock band Curved Air.

And finally, on fiddle and melodion: Fiona Barrow. Fiona has recently finished touring with hugely successful theatre show Piaf – The Songs.
