Katie Elliott (composer, project manager) is a musician and writer, based in Wotton. Since moving here in 2003, she has been an active member of the community, founding young people’s music collective The Groove Project, co-running Under the Edge Jazz Club and performing annual 12-hour Pianothons to raise money for charity. Katie is a member of many different bands and performs regularly all over the country. She also has a solo project Walking the Edge, a collection of original piano music inspired by life here in Wotton. www.katieelliott.com

 

 

Anthony Marks (lyricist) was born in Leeds in 1960. He studied music at the Queen’s College, Oxford, then composition with Stanley Glasser at Goldsmiths’ College, University of London. After various jobs in publishing he became a freelance in 2001, working as an author, journalist and composer. His work has been published by Boosey & Hawkes Music Publishers, Usborne Publishing, ABRSM and others, and in magazines such as Classic FM, The Architect’s Journal and Escape.

 

 

Oliver Mochizuki (management team) is a Bristol based film producer and director. He is a co-founder of award-winning music and arts festival BrisFest – a festival built by the people, for the people. Other projects include: European Director of Creative Minds in Cannes as part of the LA based Creative Minds Group and managing Ozuki Films. He is also part of the team delivering TED X events in Bristol.

 

 

David Hillman (graphic designer – MMiW logo) studied at the London School of Printing before starting out as a design assistant on the Sunday Times Magazine. He went on to work as editor of the Sunday Times environment section, deputy editor of Nova magazine and in 1978 became a partner at international design company Pentagram, where he stayed for 29 years, working with clients such as The Tate, Phaidon Press, The New Statesman and the Times Educational Supplement. Perhaps his most widely recognised achievement was the redesign of The Guardian in 1989, for which he won an award.
